Follow these 3 easy steps to help you transfer over existing pre-authorized transactions (ie. utility bills, insurance payments, loan payments, etc.) to come out of your OPPA Credit Union account.
The 3 Easy Steps:
Obtain a void cheque form / account information with transit and branch number from the OPPA Credit Union.
Log into your online account with the respective companies where you have pre-authorized payments. Update your account information with your new OPPA Credit Union account details, attach your personalized void cheque form if require.
* Handy reminder – leave enough money in your old account to cover pre-authorized transactions for the next 4-6 weeks, until the updates catch the next billing cycle / come into effect.
