To learn more or to sign up for Internet Banking, please contact your Member Service Advisor.

To Use MemberDirect Online Access

  • Log on to Internet Banking.

  • Enter your branch and member numbers:
    • Select OPPA for all chequing, savings, personal loan, investment and most mortgage accounts.
    • For other mortgage accounts select MTG, SMTR or BSMTR as indicated on your mortage statement.
  • Enter your access code:
    • This is the same personal access code that you use for telephone banking. If you don’t currently use telephone banking or are having a problem with the log-on procedure, contact your Member Service Advisor.

Other Important Information

  • If no action has been processed in two minutes or more, you will automatically be logged out. Even if you click an option, you will be directed back to the log-in screen. This is a security feature and cannot be turned off.
  • Avoid the Back button in your browser. MemberDirect is a transactional system that tracks which page you are on, and concludes some transactions by having you return to the main menu. It is recommended that you always use the Main Menu button to return to the main menu. The Back button in your browser may create errors in certain areas and should be avoided.
  • If you do not understand any features or functions once logged onto Member Direct Internet Banking you can click the 'help' button to find out.
  • If you have any other problems logging on to MemberDirect, simply contact the OPPA Credit Union during regular business hours.
